Hello Prairie City Families,
This is Superintendent Casey Hallgarth with an important announcement about our breakfast and lunch program. I am happy to announce that we have been granted the Seamless Summer Option program which allows our school to receive free breakfasts and lunches for the rest of the school year. This applies to every Pre School through 12th grade student enrolled at Prairie City. I want to emphasize that this program will be back dated to October 1st and all outstanding accounts before October 1st still need to be paid. If you have any question regarding this announcement, please feel free to call the school at 541-820-3314.
Thank you and Go Panthers!

Due to Covid-19 I am unable to bring in financial aid representatives to discuss the FAFSA that has opened today October 1. Use the following link to register for the FAFSA orientation beav.es/4hs.
You can also look at previous videos and topics on the following website https://gateway.oregonstate.edu/college-talk-tuesdays-resource-library.
Contact me if you need any assistance with the FAFSA application. Thank you. Mr. Colson

Prairie City sports physicals will be next Friday, September 11 starting right after school at noon in the old gym. Bring 2 cans of food as payment. Parents need to sign the physical form before hand so that it is valid. Mr. Colson will give them to all interested athletes next week. Hello Prairie City Families,
This is Superintendent Hallgarth with an announcement. I wanted to let everyone know that we have some exciting things going on in our school district. We are planning to reopen this fall with face-to-face instruction under the guidelines of the ODE and OHA. There will be changes but we feel it is extremely important for everyone to know the guidelines that we must adhere too. Our school plan is still in the planning stage but is due August 15. Thank you all for taking the survey that was sent out a few week ago. Here is the link to see the guidelines: https://www.oregon.gov/ode/students-and-family/healthsafety/Documents/Ready%20Schools%20Safe%20Learners%202020-21%20Guidance.pdf
Also, we are offering a full day preschool program which we can have a maximum of 15 students, we have multiple Educational Assistant jobs available and our big gym is getting renovated!
Have a great rest of your week and Go Panthers!
