Parent Teacher Club

WELCOME to the Prairie City Elementary Parent Teacher Association.

We invite all parents, teachers, and community members of Prairie City to join the PTC in support of our great school. The purpose of the PTC is to give our school community the opportunity to share their thoughts and ideas on how we can help create a positive and supportive learning environment for our staff and students.

Each year the Parent Teacher Association of Prairie City School identifies a wide-range of programs to fund that enrich our students’ education. We believe that providing a great educational experience requires a joint effort between staff and parents. Our funded programs focus greatly on the direct needs identified by our teachers and staff members. Throughout the year we provide enrichment through classroom supplies, school assemblies, the artist in residence program, playground equipment, and many other activities.

Meetings are held the second Wednesday of the month in Room 3, (Mrs. Thompson's room).

these are a few of my favorite things...Trying to come up with a great gift idea for your teacher? Want to thank a specialty faculty member...but need a little help? We've asked our faculty to fill out a "Favorite Things" list. From school supplies to coffee drinks, hopefully this will make it easier for parents or community members who want to show their appreciation with a little treat.
